Vote for your award winners

22 May 2009, By a1gp.com

A1GP.com is giving you a unique chance to vote in the annual end-of-season awards.

Given to teams and drivers to commemorate a season’s action packed-racing, the annual A1GP end-of-season awards is a chance to reward the outstanding performances of the season, and not just for those who finished at the top of the points tables.

The gongs are usually determined by an expert A1GP panel of impartial representatives, but this year – A1GP.com is giving you the chance to determine the winner of FOUR awards.

It means that more awards will be decided by public vote than ever before through A1GP’s official website, A1GP.com. While we already know the gold, silver and bronze medal winners this season, there are a host of more subjective awards.

A1GP.com and a panel of experts have made a short list for each category for you to decide over – but the ultimate winners will be up to you. You have two weeks to make your decision, with voting closing on June 5th.

The awards up for grabs are:

Most improved team
Best Rookie or new driver
Best overtaking move of the season
A1GP.com readers' favourite team
To find out who the nominees for each award are, and to cast your vote, click the button below, or the one which will be on the homepage for the next two weeks:

There will also be a series of special features on A1GP.com in the next week, profiling all of the nominees.
