GABAN WINS ROUND 5 OF SIC-AAM MALAYSIAN MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP

MOHD AL-AMIRUL ASHSHAHID MOHD SALEH or more fondly known as Gaban took it easy in the 5th and last round of the SIC-AAM Malaysian Championship at the Sepang International Circuit Moto-X circuit.

Gaban finished fourth, third and second for the three races of the day giving him a comfortable third place on the podium.

“We’ll see what’s the outcome tonight at the Championship Award Ceremony but basically I’m happy about today’s race,” said Gaban after the race.

He added that he basically knew that he only needed a few more points to seal the
Championship title in the Expert class.

“To win you have to take risk but just simply jumping into it will get you into a whole lot of trouble, especially in this sport. So I took the safe route, pace myself and make sure I just get enough points to win the overall Championship.”

In first place was Arnon Theplib and in second place was Gaban’s younger sibling, Muhamad Habibullah Mohd Saleh, all three riders are under the Boon Siew Honda team.
